"You don't get to make decisions anymore." - |[DELENA]|

        So, it's been a while and I'll give you my sincerest apologies. I promised my friend Allis, that I would write about a ship on The Vampire Diaries (recently renamed to The Doppelganger Diaries), but y'all ain't ready for me to write about bamon (jesus. fuck. fuck. too many feels. can't breathe. otp of otps.) and I'm not really feeling very stelenaish after thursday's episode. So I figured, why not write about one of my biggest notp on the shows and if you guess delena aka dullena then you are 100% correct.
      Damon Salvatore and Elena Gilbert from the only show the CW actually seems to give a shit about (my ever growing bitterness at the way they treat Nikita will never be quenched.) There are so many things wrong with this couple, I don't know how to begin without being consumed with rage. First of all, Damon is Stefan's brother (i.e. Stefan and Elena were dating at the time Damon was introduced.) Now don't get me wrong, I don't disapprove of this union solely because Damon is related to Stefan, no, I disapprove because as a couple they do not fit. They do not work and they will not work. I am not a Damon hater, I quite like Damon a lot when he's not around Elena. I just happen to think they are extremely toxic together.

     First of all let me just straight up tell you that what delena lacks is TRUE LOVE. She cares about him, yes, I will never deny that, but the love she feels for him can never, and will never compare to Stefan's. The love she has for him is solely rooted out of the sirebond. Damon around Elena is extremely unlikable, he does shit that you're just like really Damon? really? Also, Damon fell for Elena as his Katherine substitute. I swear one episode he was all "I love Katherine" then the next episode he was all "I love Elena." Secondly, Damon completely disregards Elena has a person and her choices. He doesn't understand who she is or rather who she was (since home-girl has just become completely unrecognizable). Also, I don't even know what they do besides fuck and talk about Stefan. Can I just LOL at the fact that in order for her to fight the compulsion to kill him, she had to think about Stefan? AHAHAHA that is so endgame material right there.

           I think I despise Delena a lot because of it's fans and all the fuckery they make up in their mind. Like I understand you being delusional about your ship, but there is a line to this delusion. For example, I know when my ass is being wicked delusional about Bamon (my headacanons are the shit though, you can't fucks with this kind of crazy) and if I have to defend Bamon against someone, I merely state the facts (because my ship is a canon mother fucker that sails itself) and not add my own headcanons to this shit. The shit that delena fans make up just has me sitting there like, "really? really bitch? really?" Buckle up because here comes the bullshit train.

DE fan: "Damon handled her rejection and being with Stefan for so long very well."
Did he? Did he really? Do you want me to refresh your memory of this scene?

Oh and don't even start will the whole, "he knew Jeremy had the ring on" thing because he didn't. He even said so himself, but no, you're right DE fans. Damon handles rejection, oh so well.

DE fan: "Damon respects Elena's choices unlike Stefan."

Remember that time Elena didn't want to become a vampire and Damon force fed her his blood against her choice? No? Wow. Maybe I made that up, but we all know I didn't.

DE fan: "Damon loves her so much. He deserves to finally get the girl."

DE fan: "Stefan is the worse brother ever! He is even an awful vampire and boyfriend. Damon is so much better for Elena."

I honestly can not at some of these DE fans logic. For one, Damon slept with Elena's mom, so we're gonna let that one sink in. Damon's way of fixing things is always compulsion, sex and booze. Also, it is possible to be a fan of Delena and not make up these stupid as fuck reasons to hate Stefan because the fact is Stefan Salvatore is the better brother and the perfect boyfriend. And I promise you I'm not pulling this out of my ass because in the last episode Elena Skankbert (coughs) Gilbert, herself said the Stefan was THE PERFECT BOYFRIEND.

I could go on for days about why this is my anti ship, but eh, I'd rather paint my fingernails and look pretty. So enjoy this little blurb on why Delena sucks and for those who ship delena and you have now seen the light ..
