Liam Court came into Annie Wilson's life by chance. He was dating Annie's best friend Naomi Clark and they hated each other. Annie and Liam had a few squabbles here and there and ended up kissing behind Naomi's back which got Naomi pissed and in all honesty, I would be too! I mean can Annie keep her Kansas hands off Naomi's boyfriends? (See Seasons 1 and 2 with Ethan) After this whole debacle they kept fighting their feelings for each other in what was basically a tug of war which lasted throughout the majority of season 3, 4 and 5. Annie hates Liam, Liam loves Annie, Annie realizes she loves Liam, Liam finds other girl. Liam realizes he loves Annie? Too late. Annie finds other boy and no I am not exaggerating in the least because this is straight up what happened in the show.
Honestly Annie and Liam have had their intensely cut moments, but I felt like after a time they just dragged on like a really bad soap opera couple where you just want it to stop. I can honestly say that it made sense for them to be endgame because any other couple together would be simply unimaginable. When Annie wrote her tell all book about her life as a prostitute (biggest 90210 flop ever) she wrote her hero as Liam. Liam was always too troubled for my liking, I like my men troubled, but home boy was stupid too. Annie was also too fake goody two shoes for my liking because we all know she was a secret bitch who pretended that Naomi was the worst and that's probably why I'm a little bitter about this show.
His end monologue was everything I ever wanted and more after all this couple has been through, they no doubt deserved a happy ending: View Here
“I read the end of your book. That person that you made me- The guy who rides up on his motorcycle and says exactly how he feels and what he wants, even if it’s complicated - that’s the guy I want to be. And I’m here to say I don’t care how hard it is, it’s what I want because what we have is worth it. Annie, I love you, and I always have. Annie Wilson, will you marry me? It’s romantic as hell and I’m not taking no for an answer this time.”
Until next time. ;)
